A new mobile clinic initiative has been started by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) with the goal of offering vital medical treatment to isolated and underprivileged communities. Director-General Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye announced the plan, which entails deploying a fleet of fully furnished mobile clinics to provide health education, immunizations, and medical consultations in rural areas.
“This program is part of our commitment to ensuring that all Ghanaians, regardless of their location, have access to quality healthcare,” stated Dr. Kuma-Aboagye. It is anticipated that the mobile clinics will reach thousands of locals, enhancing health outcomes and lessening the strain on permanent medical institutions. Residents of Kumasi expressed gratitude for the improved access to healthcare during the inauguration event, which featured a demonstration of the services offered.
