Males are “endangered species,” according to Nollywood veteran Kanayo O. Kanayo, who may be referring to societal changes or difficulties that males face today.

Despite their commitment to their job, he stated his dissatisfaction that wealthy men frequently pour money on female performers, giving the impression that their male rivals are not working hard enough.

On a recent episode of the podcast “The Honest Bunch,” which is co-hosted by Deity Cole and Husband Material, Kanayo O. Kanayo made an appearance as a guest.

He bemoaned, “A lot of rich Nigerian men take advantage of our women and give them benefits that make us appear to be not working hard.”

The majority of wealthy Nigerian guys spend so much money on our females that it makes us poorer. A girl you’ve been dating says she wants to make a production and asks for between N100 million and N150 million, so you give it to her. However, you’ll say, “Go and work hard, my friend,” if it’s me, KOK.

“Let’s investigate this since have you ever witnessed a woman request financial assistance for any medical bills? Only men are involved. “I am saying that we are an endangered species,” he said.

The seasoned actor also expressed his desire to stay involved in the motion picture business until he is 90 years old. Kanayo also voiced his worries about what he sees as a flood of untalented women joining Nollywood.
