Tony Yeboah’s reputation as a legend in Frankfurt is growing every day, as evidenced by the recent revival of a fan tattoo online that has his name and jersey number.

He is so well-known that a social media picture of a Frankfurt supporter who has proudly had a Yeboah tattoo on his back for more than 30 years has gone viral. Yeboah’s name and number are permanently engraved on his skin in a tattoo that looks like the Eintracht Frankfurt shirt.
When it came to black football players in the Bundesliga, the former Ghanaian international was a pioneer.
He scored an incredible 68 goals in more than 120 games for Frankfurt. In the German top division, he also took home two golden boots.
Before hanging up his boots after a year at Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, Yeboah previously played for Leeds United and Hamburg SV.
